<strong>Years<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, what\u2019s currently happening represents an important challenge and <strong>a new starting point for the future, generating big opportunities to rethink the current \u201cways of working\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Considering the possible outcomes of this new Scenario, what are the actions that companies need to do in order to overcome the crisis and <\/em><strong><em>to gain a competitive advantage for the future? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They must essentially consider <strong>four key elements<\/strong> to set-up a \u201cNew ways of working\u201d model:[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"standard-arrow list-divider bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li><strong>Remote working<\/strong>: This does not only mean to work from remote; it means to help employees build a proper work environment, providing simple suggestions (i.e. how to set-up a comfortable workstation, how to manage teams from remote, how to properly manage meetings, etc.), tools (like whiteboarding tools, shared agendas, web-conferencing, chats, etc.) and moments for social virtual aggregation (i.e. scheduled virtual coffees &amp; aperitif, workouts, etc.) to better adapt.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital mobilization tools<\/strong>: Accessible technologies have been probably underestimated; available technologies support employees to work effectively from remote in a very efficient way providing many necessary instruments (chats, calls\/video calls, digital workshops, virtual workplaces, document sharing, etc.) to collaborate, integrate, plan and learn together.<br \/>\n<strong> Eurogroup Consulting<\/strong> <strong>Digital Factory, <\/strong>in partnership with <strong>leading international universities<\/strong>, has created a specific platform for <strong>digital interactive workshops <\/strong>which is capable to develop <strong>customizable workshops according to clients\u2019 needs. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Protected office<\/strong>: CoViD-19 outbreak caused companies\u2019 attention to focus on \u201cpeople protection\u201d.<br \/>\n<em>Will <strong>office cleaning <\/strong>need to be intensified to <strong>ensure adequate hygiene conditions<\/strong>?<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Will a <strong>new office layout <\/strong>be needed to <strong>ensure employees\u2019 well-being<\/strong>?<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Will <strong>employees\u2019 access <\/strong>have to be programmed for people\u2019s safety?<br \/>\n<\/em>Some actions such as <strong>establishing a consistent set of procedures <\/strong>(i.e. advanced cleaning, new sanitation procedures, changes in processes, meeting sizes and locations) and <strong>travel guidelines <\/strong>(i.e. give detailed guidance on travel, including any quarantine procedures) allows companies to provide a concrete answer to these questions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>People mobilization and engagement<\/strong>: \u201cNew ways of working\u201d implies a mindset shift; it is important to maintain people engagement, identifying a comprehensive set of tools\/initiatives to support a collaborative activity enhancing people branding <em>(i.e. weekly \u201call hands\u201d web meeting, social virtual activities, tutorship program)<\/em> and introducing innovative models for performance measurement that allow people improving autonomous responsibility and encouraging participation <em>(e.g. incentive model based on gamification)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]<strong><em>\u2026 in this scenario, what should companies do in the short and medium term?<\/em><\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Already now companies should:[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"standard-arrow list-divider bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li>Ensure employees <strong>can work remotely<\/strong> in terms of role and activities within the company<\/li>\n<li>Define <strong>new digital mobilization tools<\/strong> <em>(i.e. collaboration tools, chat, document sharing, etc.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Redefine <strong>procedures <\/strong>and guidelines to <strong>ensure a protected office<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]In the medium-term, companies should:[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"standard-arrow list-divider bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li>Review the old ways of working and launch testing phases based on new interactive working models, implementing new KPIs and metrics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]Only companies that are capable to evolve and adapt can gain a competitive advantage for the future, leveraging on their businesses and enhancing employee safety and protection.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]For further information, please contact:<\/p>\n<p>Aurelio MUSTACCIUOLI<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:a.mustacciuoli@eurogroupconsulting.it\">a.mustacciuoli@eurogroupconsulting.it<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fabio PIERANTOZZI<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:f.pierantozzi@eurogroupconsulting.it\">f.pierantozzi@eurogroupconsulting.it<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]CoViD-19 outbreak is deeply impacting our lives, the caring for our families, our health and businesses work.
